The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cardiovascular diseases comprising a kamolonol compound as an active ingredient, and more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cardiovascular diseases comprising a kamolonol compound which is an extract separated from Ferula assafoetida mushroom as an active ingredient, and to a method for preparing the kamolonol compound. According to the present invention, the kamolonol compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is effective in hindering Roh kinase and has no cytotoxicity, thereby being usable as a medicine for preventing or treating cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure, cardiac heart failure, cardiac infraction, etc carried by Roh kinase.본 발명은 카모로놀 화합물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 심혈관 질환의 예방 및 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더 상세하기는 아위 (Ferula assafoetida) 버섯으로부터 분리된 추출물로서 카모로놀 화합물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 심혈관 질환의 예방 및 치료용 약학적 조성물 및 카모로놀 화합물의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 카모로놀 화합물 또는 그의 약학적으로 허용되는 염은 로키나아제 저해효과가 우수하고 세포독성이 거의 없어 로키나아제를 매개로 하는 고혈압, 심부전, 심근경색 등 심혈관 질환의 예방 또는 치료제로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
