A kit is thus provided that includes an introducer defining at least one lumen at a distal end of a working channel that is configured for receiving an elongate member of a medical device introduction system having an imaging device carried on the end thereon. A packaging defines a recess into which the introducer is carried when the packaging is in a sealed state. A cover is selectively removable from the packaging. The packaging further defines a guide system for guiding the elongate member into the working channel to engage the introducer with the elongate member and prevent contamination of the introducer.
