The drug delivery system includes an outer skin defining a reservoir, and a mixture of a carrier oil and one or more cannabinoids inside the reservoir. The outer skin of the drug delivery device is permeable to the mixture of the carrier oil and the one or more cannabinoids. The drug delivery device may be a resilient ring, and the one or more cannabinoids may include Cannabidiol and less than approximately 0.03% Tetrahydrocannabinol.
