PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooked rice-molding device which can mold Sushi rice or the like, for example, on every other molded Sushi rice to improve operability for discharging the molded Sushi rice or the like, and to provide a cooked rice-molding method.SOLUTION: There is provided the cooked rice-molding device characterized by disposing a controller including: an intermittent rotation-driving means for rotating an intermittent rotation molding disk every one pitch a cooked rice-supplying means for supplying the cooked rice to a molding hole from a cooked rice-supplying portion, when the molding hole is placed in the cooked rice-supplying portion a cooked rice-pressing means for driving the pressing portion to press the cooked rice in the molding hole, when the molding hole is placed in the cooked rice-supplying portion and an empty-sending means capable empty-sending the intermittent rotation molding disk with the intermittent rotation-driving means.
