PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical benefit evaluating method and device for easily, accurately, quantitatively evaluating the effect of a chemical acting on sympathetic nerve by analyzing sweating dynamics using OCT(Optical Coherent Tomography) measurement.SOLUTION: In this medical benefit evaluating method, the medical benefit is evaluated by analyzing an OCT image about specific eccrine sweat gland distributing in a palm of a subject. The time variation of the sweating amount of mental sweating since an external irritation is applied to the subject is measured before the chemical is given to the subject and after a predetermined time progresses since giving of the chemical, thereby easily, accurately, quantitatively evaluating the effect of the chemical.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】OCT計測を用いて発汗ダイナミクスの解析を行い、交感神経に作用する薬剤の効果を簡便かつ高精度で定量評価できる薬効評価方法および装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る薬効評価方法は、被験者の手掌部に分布する特定のエクリン汗腺に関するOCT画像を解析することにより薬効を評価する方法であって、被験者に外部刺激を与えた時点からの精神性発汗の発汗量の時間変化を、被験者に薬剤を投与する前および薬剤投与から所定時間経過後にそれぞれ計測することによって、薬剤の効果を簡便かつ高精度で定量評価することができる。【選択図】図5
