[Abstract][Objective] To provide a vibration perception threshold measurement method capable of achieving an increase in measurement accuracy while complying with measurement methods for vibration perception thresholds stipulated in non-patent document 1 and non-patent document 2.[Solution] In the vibration perception threshold measurement method of the present invention which obtains a vibration perception threshold at a fingertip by repeating an ascent method for obtaining a threshold of the ascent method by gradually increasing the magnitude of a vibratory stimulus until there is a response from a subject, and a descent method for obtaining a threshold of the descent method by gradually decreasing the magnitude of the vibratory stimulus until there is no response from the subject, the magnitude of the vibratory stimulus at starting time for the ascent method is set to vary randomly within a predetermined range (for example, 0 to -10 dB) with respect to the threshold of the descent method obtained in the previous iteration of the descent method. In addition, a stop time for the vibratory stimulus is provided at step SP9 between when measurement completes for the descent method and measurement starts for the ascent method.
