The invention relates to porous silica particles partially functionalized with long hydrocarbon chains and loaded with a fungicidal agent, which can release the fungicidal agent in a selective manner, targeted at the site of the infection, thereby preventing fungicides from being released unnecessarily into the plant product and the environment.
