The composition in question is characterized by the incorporation of at least one carbohydrate-based melanin inhibiting agent selected from bearberry extract, ascorbyl glycoside, rutin and arbutin in an ultra-low molecular weight aminoglycan polymer gel. A invenção oferece uma composição de pele aperfeiçoada destinada à aplicação tôpica à pele para clarear a pele hiperpigmentada. A composição em questão caracteriza-se pela incorporação de pelo menos um agente inibidor de melanina à base de carboidratos selecionado de extrato de uva-ursinha, ascorbil glicosídeo, rutina e arbutina em um gel de polímero de aminoglicano de peso molecular ultrabaixo. Foi descoberto que a composição de pele da presente invenção possui maior penetração na pele e aumenta significativamente o efeito despigmentador dos agentes ativos.
