PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nonwoven fabric which has a high tensile strength in a dry condition but lowers the tensile strength due to dissolved highly branched cyclic dextrin in a wet state to exhibit an excellent hydrolyzing property.
SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric is formed of fibers prepared by spinning a composition comprising regenerated cellulose and highly branched cyclic dextrin in an amount of 3 to 30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the regenerated cellulose. Sanitary goods using the nonwoven fabric can be hydrolyzed and treated.
