The present invention relates to Saengjang as a new cultivar of aloe and a method for identifying the same. Saengjang as a new cultivar of aloe with peel can be crushed and drunk without being peeled as the peel is thin and thorns are soft. Five to twenty young sprouts grow around a grown-up aloe and are transplanted to be bred into a large amount. Therefore Saengjang can significantly contribute to increase of the income of farmers who cultivate aloe. Moreover, according to the present invention, the aloe can be identified by using four types of molecular marker primer sets. A maker, used in the present invention, is expected to be applied to cultivar identification to establish systems for determining cultivars based on places of origin of aloe, determining purity, protecting cultivars, and managing seeds.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016본 발명은 알로에 신품종 생장(Saengjang) 및 이의 판별 방법에 관한 것으로, 알로에 신품종 생장은 잎의 껍질이 얇고 가시가 부드러워 껍질을 제거하지 않고 알로에 잎을 껍질째 갈아 음용할 수 있으며, 성체 알로에 주변에서 어린 새순이 5~20개가 성장하여 새순 옮겨심기로 대량 번식이 가능하게 함으로써 알로에 재배 농가 소득 증대에 크게 기여할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명에 따르면, 4 가지 분자 표지 프라이머 세트를 이용하여 상기 알로에 판별이 가능하였으며, 본 발명에 사용된 마커는 알로에 원산지에 따른 품종판별, 순도 검정, 품종보호와 종자 관리체계 확립을 위한 품종 검정에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
