PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure calculation method for a non-invasive blood pressure measurement apparatus, capable of determining the type of noise caused by the body movement of a person to be measured and an irregular heartbeat caused by a disease, etc., based on a change in an oscillation amplitude and a change in a cuff pressure which are detected or measured from the person to be measured, selecting an appropriately corresponding blood pressure calculation method, based on the determination result, rapidly and appropriately calculating the optimum blood pressure value, and displaying the value.SOLUTION: The method of calculating the blood pressure, includes:a process for determining the type of the noise caused by the body movement of a living body and the irregular heartbeat caused by disease, etc., contained in the signal waveform representing a change in an oscillation amplitude and a change in a cuff pressure detected by a cuff and a process for setting calculation methods for calculating an appropriate blood pressure value, each of which has priority in accordance with the type of noise and the irregular heartbeat contained in the detected signal waveform, and selectively displaying the blood pressure value as the optimum blood pressure value, which is calculated by the calculation method with the highest priority with respect to the detected signal waveform.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】被測定者から検出ないし測定されるオシレーション振幅の変化やカフ圧の変化から被測定者の体動による雑音や疾患による不整脈などの種別を判定し、この判定結果に基づいて適正に対応する血圧計算方法を選択し、迅速かつ適正な最適血圧値を算出し表示することができる非観血血圧測定装置の血圧算出方法を提供する。【解決手段】前記カフにより検出されるオシレーション振幅の変化およびカフ圧の変化の信号波形に含まれる生体の体動による雑音や疾患による不整脈などの種別を判定する工程と、前記検出信号波形に含まれる雑音や不整脈の種別に毎に、適正な血圧値を算定する前記各計算手法を、それぞれ優先順位を設けて対応するように設定し、検出された信号波形について最も優先順位の高い計算手法により算出された血圧値について、最適血圧値として選択し表示する工程とからなる。【選択図】図1
