A method and a radiological apparatus to allow the reconstruction of a three-dimensional image of the bony and muscular parts of the human body. The apparatus includes a radiographic image capture element that provides at least one posteroanterior and lateral radiographic image and at least two planar radiographic images. Each radiographic image is composed of pixels having a width and a height. The apparatus comprises a processor for associating with each pixel a vector having a predetermined size. Each vector comprises a first parameter characterizing a spatial orientation and a second parameter characterizing a distribution of the texture gradient where the texture gradient is represented by a statistical distribution making it possible to determine whether a pixel belongs to the bone part or to the muscular part of the body human.
