PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gel sheet supports having flexibility that does not impair the inherent properties of gel-like materials, being easy to be attached to the face surface and the like because of having stretch back properties without tearing when attached on curved parts such as the face surface, and being in excellent transparency when attached； and to provide cosmetic gel sheets containing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a gel sheet support that is a knitted structure containing 70-100% by mass of cellulosic fibers and 0-30% by mass of elastomer system elastic fibers, the 20% elongation modulus strength in at least one direction of the knitted structure in wet conditions ranging from 0.3 to 3.0 N/50 mm, and the air permeability of the knitted structure in wet conditions being 1000 cm3/cm2.sec or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】ゲル状物が本来持っている特性を損なわない柔軟性を有し、顔面等の湾曲部に貼付けたときに破れたりすることなく、ストレッチバック性を有しているため顔面等に貼付けやすく、且つ貼付けたときの透明感に優れた、ゲルシート用支持体、及びこれを含む化粧用ゲルシートを提供する。【解決手段】セルロース系繊維を７０～１００質量％、及びエラストマー系弾性繊維を０～３０質量％含有する編物構造体であるゲルシート用支持体であって、湿潤状態で、編物構造体の少なくとも一方向における２０％伸長モジュラス強度が０．３～３．０Ｎ／５０ｍｍの範囲であり、且つ湿潤状態で、編物構造体の通気性が１０００ｃｍ3／ｃｍ2．ｓｅｃ以上である、ゲルシート用支持体。【選択図】図１
