PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant overdenture system that can reduce a burden imposed in a surgical operation and allows improvement of maintainability with easy attachment/detachment, and to provide an implant that is used for the system and allows increase of strength.SOLUTION: An implant overdenture system 1 is provided to fix an implant overdenture 3 to a residual ridge 8 by an implant 10. The implant overdenture 3 has an artificial tooth 31, a denture base 32 and a magnet structure 4. The implant 10 has an implant body 11 and a keeper 2. The keeper 2 is set to have a circumscribed circle with a maximum diameter d1 of &phgr；1.8 mm or more in an outer shape of an absorbed surface and the implant body 11 is set to have a maximum diameter d2 of &phgr；1.2 mm or more and &phgr；3.5 mm or less, satisfying a relationship of d1/d2&le；1.5.【課題】手術にかかる負担を低減すると共に、着脱が容易でメンテナンス性を向上することが可能なインプラントオーバーデンチャーシステムと、これに用いられる強度の向上が可能なインプラントとを提供すること。【解決手段】インプラントオーバーデンチャーシステム１は、インプラント１０によってインプラントオーバーデンチャー３を顎堤８に固定するためのものである。インプラントオーバーデンチャー３は、人工歯３１と、義歯床３２と、磁石構造体４とを有している。インプラント１０は、インプラント本体部１１と、キーパ２とを有している。キーパ２の被吸着面の外形における外接円の最大直径ｄ１は、φ１．８ｍｍ以上に設定してあり、インプラント本体部１１の最大直径ｄ２は、φ１．２ｍｍ以上でかつφ３．５ｍｍ以下に設定してあり、ｄ１／ｄ２≦１．５の関係を有している。【選択図】図１
