An animal enclosure comprising spaced apart first and second support walls 119, which between them support a wire mesh wall 99. The mesh-wall 99 is moveable arcuately outwardly and subsequently inwardly relative to the support walls 119 to provide an opening between the support walls 119. Each support wall 119 includes a guide 121 for guiding mesh-wall 99 as it moves to open the opening, where guides 121 are configured so that once the opening is open, the mesh-wall 99 is retained in that position. Guides 121 may be substantially L-shaped and comprise first and second branches set at an angle of less than 90 degrees. Mesh-wall 99 may carry a plurality of followers / runners that cooperate with the guides 121.
