PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing laver for exterminating miscellaneous algae such as diatoms and green laver growing on or mixing with cultured laver, effectively and efficiently controlling or protecting each disease injury such as needle bacterial disease caused by pathogenic bacteria and minimizing load on marine environment, and to obtain a laver processing agent. SOLUTION: The method for processing laver comprises dividing a processing tank 11 on a work ship into two in order to continuously perform extermination of miscellaneous algae of cultured laver and disease injury control, and using a front 12 as a miscellaneous alga and pathogenic bacterium exterminating tank and a backside 13 as a mycotic disease injury controlling tank. It is preferable to continuously supply to the front tank 12 electroanalyzed liquid prepared by electroanalyzing sea water containing at least an organic acid, and to continuously supply the acidic processing agent to the backside tank 13 followed by treating by soaking treatment or scattering treatment.
