PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of properly displaying results of measurement obtained by using a tomographic image, while effectively utilizing a region where no tomographic image is displayed.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an ultrasonic probe 102 in contact with a subject to transmit and receive ultrasonic waves an image forming section 108 for forming a tomographic image 200 on the basis of the ultrasonic waves a measurement section 112 for performing measurement using the tomographic image 200 and a display section 110 for displaying the tomographic image 200 formed by the image forming section 108 and a measurement result 202 acquired by the measurement section 112.
