Further, the invention relates to an endoluminal device comprising a plurality of polymer yarns and at least one alloy wire, wherein the polymer yarns comprise or consist of a biodegradable polymer selected from the group consisting of polylactide, polygycolide, poly(3 hydroxybutyrate), poly(4-hydroxybutyrate), polycaprolactone, polytrimethylenecarbonate, copolymer comprising repeating monomer units selected from the group consisting of lactide units, glycolide units, 6-hydroxyhexanoic acid units, 3-hydroxybutyrate units, 4-hydroxybutyrate units, trimethylencarbonate units and a combination of at least two of said monomer units, anda blend of at least two of said polymers, and the least one alloy wire comprises or consists of a biocompatible alloy selected from the group consisting of magnesium alloy, iron alloy, alloyed stainless steel, cobalt-chromium alloy and a combination of at least two of said alloys.
