PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation apparatus of the luminal body in a living body capable of accurately evaluating the luminal body in the living body based on its mechanical properties.SOLUTION: A blood vessel diameter calculation section 76 noninvasively measures the diameter (a cross-sectional shape value) D of an artery 44 of a forearm 22 housed in a pressure container 24 in a process for changing the pressure of the pressure container 24 housing the forearm 22 of a subject 20 therein within a pressure range including a negative pressure, and a display control section (a display control means) 80 displays a change in the internal pressure Pc of the pressure container 24 and a change in the diameter D of the artery 44 which changes corresponding to the change in the internal pressure Pc of the pressure container 14 on a display 16. This constitution can displays the change in the internal pressure Pc of the pressure container 24 and the change in the diameter D of the artery 44 which changes corresponding to the change in the internal pressure Pc of the pressure container, namely the mechanical properties of the artery 44, on the display 16 based on the diameter D of the artery 44 acquired in a high pressure area so as to accurately evaluate the artery 44 based on the mechanical properties.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】生体内の管腔体をその力学的性質に基づいて正確に評価することができる生体内管腔体評価装置を提供する。【解決手段】被測定者20の前腕22が収容された圧力容器24を負圧を含む圧力範囲で変化させる過程で、その圧力容器24内に収容された前腕22内の動脈44の径( 断面形状値) Dが血管径算出部76によって非侵襲で測定されるとともに、表示制御部( 表示制御手段) 80によってその圧力容器24の内圧Pc の変化とその圧力容器24の内圧Pc の変化に対応して変化する動脈44の径Dの変化とが、表示器16に表示される。このように、高圧領域において得られた動脈44の径Dから、圧力容器24の内圧Pc の変化とその圧力容器24の内圧Pc の変化に対応して変化する動脈44の径Dの変化、すなわち動脈44の力学的性質が表示器16に表示されるので、その力学的性質に基づいて動脈44を正確に評価できる。【選択図】図1
