PURPOSE: Provided are a fishing rod and a connection structure thereof which regulate the entire length of the fishing rod and increase the freedom of the zooming length thereof. CONSTITUTION: The fishing rod which is formed by connecting many tubular rods in order, includes: a main rod(1)； and a circular rod(2), installed in an axially movable manner inside the main rod(1). The circular rod(2) is connected inside the main rod(1) in a coming-in and -out manner in the direction of water plane, and has a first contained position and a second contained position. In the first contained position, the circular rod(2) is contained and held inside the main rod(1), in the state that the base-side end of the circular rod is in contact with that of the main rod(1), whiles, in the second contained position, the circular rod is also contained and held inside the main rod(1), but in the state that the base-side end of the circular rod is located in the axial central portion of the main rod.[과제] 낚싯대 전체의 길이를 조정하면서, 그 줌 길이의 자유도를 높이기 위한 장대끼리의 연결 구조를 제공한다.[해결 수단] 이 낚싯대는 원대(1)와, 원대(1) 내에 수선측을 향하여 출입 가능하게 연결되는 원상대(2)를 가지고 있다. 이 원상대(2)는 그 장대 기단측 단부(端部)가 원대(1)의 장대 기단측 단부에 이르는 상태로 원대(1) 내에 수납 고정되는 수납 상태와, 그 장대 기단측 단부가 원대(1)의 축 방향 중앙 부근에 이르는 상태로 원대(1) 내에 수납 고정되는 연신 상태를 취할 수 있다.
