The invention relates to a method and a device for acoustic and tactile perception of 3D space, intended for motion and navigation of visually-impaired persons within the environment. According to the invention, the method enables the visually-impaired persons orientation and navigation by converting the position space into a frequency space by associating each position point within the 3D-mapped space P(x, y, z) to a tridimensional frequency vector vwhile performing a scanning of the variable of the main frequency, where the limits of the scanning range are given by the limits of the range associated to the space of position points P(x, y, z) but with variable resolution of the scanning range similar to the human vision field, leading to the conversion of the 3D space expressed as a position into an acoustic perception field, applicable to an acoustic module, or into a tactile perception field, by applying it to a piezoceramic module or magneto-rheological module. The device, as claimed by the invention, consists of a set of 3D laser scanning or 3D ultrasound scanning modules or a image processing module providing signals for a virtual environment map module () to convert into a virtual map the environment with a stable image, an acoustic or tactile map generation module () which converts the 3D space into an acoustic and/or tactile perception field and an acoustic actuator module () which receives a signal of the acoustic perception field and converts the same into an acoustic signal.Invenţia se referă la o metodă şi la un dispozitiv de percepţie acustică şi tactilă a spaţiului 3D, destinată deplasării şi navigării în mediu a nevăzătorilor şi a persoanelor cu probleme de vedere. Metoda conform invenţiei constă în orientarea şi navigarea în spaţiu a nevăzătorilor, prin transformarea spaţiului poziţiilor într-un spaţiu al frecvenţelor, cu asocierea fiecărui punct de poziţie din spaţiul P(x,y,z) cartografiat 3D unui vector tridimensional val frecvenţelor, cu efectuar
