<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate selection of branched blood vessels for advancing a guide wire or the like in the vicinity of a branch position within the coronary vein. <；P>；SOLUTION: A catheter 1 is provided which comprises an elongated and flexible insertion section 2 inserted into the blood vessel of a patient, a blood receiving section 3 arranged on the distal end of the insertion section 2 and subjected to the force of blood flow directing the blood receiving section to one of branched blood vessels when positioned to face the blood flow in the vicinity of a branch position within the blood vessel, and a connection section 4 for swingably connecting the blood receiving section 3 to the insertion section 2. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
