PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine capable of contributing to enhancing feelings of a massage given to a predetermined region, and a control method thereof.SOLUTION: A control device 60 of a massage machine 1 includes a massage control part 61 for executing first control and second control in forming a massage operation in which a massage ball 31 moves in a predetermined range for giving a massage to a body. In the first control, the massage control part 61 changes virtual flexibility of the massage ball 31 based on the predetermined information in which a state of the massage is reflected when the massage ball 31 moves in a first direction in which it is pressed against a predetermined region of the body.
