A nebulizer according to the present invention has: a suction mechanism for suctioning a liquid from a water bottle for accommodating a liquid for humidification, by a negative pressure due to oxygen gas jetted from a gas jetting part of a nozzle member, and converting the suctioned liquid to an aerosol； a liquid receiving part for storing liquid accumulated as droplets from the aerosol； and a receiving-part-side aerosol formation member for suctioning liquid from the liquid receiving part by a negative pressure and converting the suctioned liquid to an aerosol. Through this configuration, unwanted bacteria are prevented from mixing into the liquid in a container during use, and liquid is prevented from dripping out during container replacement.
