PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial airway which can be used for surgical treatment or during emergency for establishing an airway to lungs of a patient which does not break off.SOLUTION: An artificial airway 2 comprises: an airway tube 6 comprising at least one airway conduit an inflatable cuff 4 attached to a distal end part of the tube and a support member extending to inside of the cuff. The cuff comprises an inside wall, a front wall and a rear wall 31. The inside wall is coupled to the support member and forms a dent 14 communicated to the airway conduit.
