PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of damaging blood vessels etc. by a cannula.SOLUTION: This indwelling needle has a movable unit 1 having the cannula and a hub, a tube 2 connected to the rear of the hub, a holder 3 and wings 4 for fixation. The movable unit 1 is axially slidably provided on the holder 3, and can change its position between a use position and a stowed position on the rearward of the use position. The movable unit 1 is releasably fixed to the use position.
