PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microprojection device non-invasively stimulating a skin.SOLUTION: A skin irritation microprojection device 1 according to the present invention includes hollow microprojections, the inside of which are hollow, and that stimulates the skin. The skin irritation microprojection device 1 is so configured that, in longitudinal sectional view, each hollow microprojection has the width of larger than 0.5 mm at a tip end, and the tip end is outward-projectingly curved. The manufacturing method of the skin irritation microprojection device 1 includes a projection-part forming step of bringing projecting parts 11 with heating means into contact with one surface 2D side of a base material sheet 2A containing a thermoplastic resin, from the one surface side, while softening contact parts TP by heat, sticking the projecting parts 11 into the base material sheet 2A, and forming projection parts 3A projecting from the other surface 2U side of the base material sheet 2A.
