The present invention relates to the use of a composition comprising at least one peptidic fava bean extract as an active agent capable of limiting hair loss, and/or stimulating its growth. Moreover, the composition is intended, on one hand, to modulate the Clock, Perl and Bmal1 genes in the dermal papilla cells, and, on the other hand, to restore the circadian rhythm and resynchronize the biological clock of said cells. Finally, the present invention relates to several methods of non-therapeutic cosmetic treatment using said composition.La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une composition comprenant au moins un extrait peptidique de gourgane en tant qu'agent actif capable de limiter la perte des cheveux, et/ou stimuler sa croissance. De plus, la composition est destinée, d'une part, à moduler les gènes Clock, Perl et Bmal1 dans les cellules de papille dermique, et, d'autre part, à restaurer le rythme circadien et resynchroniser l'horloge biologique desdites cellules.
