PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the strength of a stimulus given to a patient excellently.SOLUTION: A vision regeneration assisting apparatus 1 includes a plurality of electrodes 51 placed in the body of a patient for outputting an electric stimulation signal to a cell or a tissue involved in the vision of the patient, and a first image capturing device 12 for capturing an external world image by imaging an external world by an imaging device. A control unit 13 of the vision regeneration assisting apparatus 1 detects a state of the anterior eye part of the patient, and controls the electric stimulation signal output from the plurality of electrodes 51 based on the external world image captured by the first image capturing device 12.
