PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a control method for a fluid ejection device capable of switching between pulse flow ejection and continuous flow ejection.SOLUTION: A fluid ejection device comprises: a pulsating flow generation section that has a fluid chamber and capacity change means for changing a capacity of the fluid chamber and ejects fluid as pulse flow or continuous flow from a fluid ejection opening portion fluid supply means for supplying the fluid to the pulsating flow generation section at a predetermined pressure and ejection command switch means for selectively switching between pulse flow ejection and continuous flow ejection.
