PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism usable in food production, and a nerve growth factor-like agent derived from natural products using the microorganism.SOLUTION: A microorganism usable in food production for producing nerve growth factor-like active components, Saccharomyces kluyveri strain, and a method for producing a nerve growth factor-like agent using the strain are provided.
