PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent incense stick for insect pest control in which a coloring component that does not give affection to environments is used in a coloring component, thereby a colorated component is not substantially included in smoke of an incense stick.SOLUTION: Provided is an incense stick for insect pest control that includes a pyrethroid-based insecticidal component, a binder, a base material for an incense stick, and a coloring component. The incense stick for insect pest control is characterized in that a coloring component does not include a colorated coloring agent component in smoke at burning time. Any one of coloring components includes at least two functional groups that are acid and base in respective structures, and further the functional groups are preferably made a form of a salt.
