A foundation and the like which contains latent means for masking skin dullness at the time of application thereof to the skin, the means gradually working a few hours after application, is provided by providing a solid powder cosmetic composition comprising the following ingredients (1) to (3): (1) an interference pearlescent pigment having a reflectance of 30% or higher to visible light having a wavelength of 540 to 580 nm, which has been combined with one or more materials selected from among polymethylmethacrylate, silicon dioxide, platy barium sulfate, zinc oxide, and aluminum chloride, in an amount of 1 to 8 mass%； (2) spherical powder particles in an amount of 8 to 30 mass%； and (3) an oil having a viscosity of 500 to 100,000 cps, as measured by means of a B-type viscometer at 30°C, in an amount of 1.5 to 5 mass%； the amounts being on the basis of the total amount of the composition.本發明藉由提供一種含有下述成分(1)~(3)之固形粉末化妝料，而提供一種具有於塗抹於肌膚上時遮蓋暗沉之手段潛在化，但自塗抹約數小時後該手段緩緩明顯化之功能的粉底等。(1) 經選自聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、二氧化矽、板狀硫酸鋇、氧化鋅及氯化鋁之1種以上素材複合化的對波長540~580 nm之可見光之反射率為30%以上之干涉珠光顏料，其相對於化妝料為1~8質量%；(2) 球狀粉末粒子，其為化妝料之8~30質量%；(3) 於30℃下，以B型黏度計測得之黏度為500~100000 cps之範圍之油分，其為化妝料之1.5~5質量%。
