PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope and endoscope system sufficiently mitigating bending rigidity variation of a flexible tube at a start point of change in rigidity of bending-rigidity adjustment means without inhibiting insertion properties of an insertion part or spending much cost.SOLUTION: A point A is a distal end of a flexible tube 18, and respective thickness ratios on an area from the point A to a point B are unchanged. A ratio of a soft resin 52 gradually decreases on an area from the point B to a point C1, and the ratio of the soft resin 52 rapidly increases on an area from the point C1 to a point C2. A ratio of a hard resin 54 is gradually increases on an area from the point C2 to a point D. The point C2 is equivalent to a start position of a change in the rigidity. As shown by a solid line X, the change in the bending rigidity of the flexible tube 18 gradually increases from the point B to the point C1, rapidly decreases from the point C1 to the point C2, and gradually increases from the point C2 towards the point D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
