Vermicomposting is environment friendly composting process, as no greenhouse gas is release during vermicomposting due to aerobic conditions in the process. In vermicompost, huge numbers of earthworms are engaged to compost the organic waste. According to Darwin, the earthworm can consume the waste equivalent to its own weight in a day. Therefore large numbers of earthworms is requiring for consuming huge quantities of solid waste. During vermicomposting, the worm goes on multiplying by reproduction. But at the time of harvesting of compost for manure, large numbers of baby worms and eggs are destroyed and die out unnoticed. To rescue these juvenile worms the concept of theJuvenile Home� for the young worms was discovered. Apart from rescuing of baby worms, collection and shifting of the worms is another problems faces in vermicomposting. Therefore the Juvenile Home for the Worm � can also be used for collection and shifting of the worms from the compost pile to new waste.
