PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a fishing line guide body with a minimum number of parts, and thereby reduce the cost and avoid the size increase.SOLUTION: A fishing reel includes a level wind device 50 for reciprocating a fishing line guide body 60 to the right and left in order to guide a fishing line S to a spool 5A, and a pillar 70 bridged between right and left frames 2b and 2a between the spool 5A and the level wind device 5 and guiding the fishing line S. The level wind device 50 has a screw shaft 51 rotating in conjunction with the rotation of a handle 8, and a guide tube 55 covering the screw shaft 51 and attached between the right and left frames 2b and 2a in a turnable manner around the shaft. The fishing line guide body 60 is attached in a reciprocating manner to the right and left on the guide tube 55. A connecting member is attached at the end of the guide tube 55.
