PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory analgesic composition containing propolis and Sophora japonica extract is provided to suppress acute edema and ear edema and to enhance anti-inflammation. CONSTITUTION: An anti-inflammatory analgesic composition contains propolis and Sophora japonica extract as an active ingredient. The extract contains 5.0-20.0 wt% of flavonoid as an indicator. The weight ratio of the propolis and Sophora japonica is 60 : 40-80 : 20. A functional food contains the propolis and Sophora japonica extract as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the propolis and Sophora japonica extract containing flavonoid comprises: a step of extracting, cooling, and filtering propolis and Sophora japonica to prepare liquid； a step of adding sodium hydrogen carbonate to the liquid and aggregating at -20°；C to -30°；C； a step of removing wax and collecting filtered liquid； a step of maturing the filtered liquid at room temperature for 1-7 days； a step of centrifuging the liquid at 3,000-5,000 rpm, reducing pressure, pulverizing, and sterilizing.본 발명은 항염증, 항관절염 및 진통억제 효능을 가지는 프로폴리스(Propolis)와 괴화(Sophora japonica) 복합제 추출물에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 구체적으로는 유효 성분으로 5.0 ~ 20.0 중량%의 플라보노이드(flavonoid)를 함유하는 프로폴리스(Propolis) 및 괴화(Sophorajaponica) 추출물의 제조방법 및 이를 유효성분으로 하는 소염 진통제 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 일정 함량의 유효성분으로써 플라보노이드를 함유하는 프로폴리스 및 괴화 추출물은 천연물 유래의 물질로서 독성 및 부작용이 없으며, 귀 부종 및 급성부종 억제작용, 급성관절염 억제작용, 진통 억제작용 등의 탁월한 항염증 효과를 가지므로, 이를 함유하는 조성물은 관절염, 부종, 통증 등과 같은 염증성 질환의 치료 및 예방에 효과적이고 안전한 의약품으로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
