The apparatus (100) of the present disclosure facilitates reduction of unnecessary and time consuming transactions between a surgeon and his assistants. It reduces requirement of staff/ manpower during the transplanting process, and is also easy to use. The apparatus for hair transplant (100) comprises an implanter housing (102) and at least one needle (104). The implanter housing (102) has at least one groove (101a) configured therewithin. The at least one needle (104) is configured to be received within the at least one groove (101a), and has a U-shaped profile to facilitate containment of a plurality of hair grafts (104a) therewithin.
