Disclosed is a technique to diagnose metabolic syndrome using anthropometric data and to provide a healthcare guide. The method of providing the healthcare guide comprises: receiving the anthropometric data of a testee； calculating a modeling function value by inputting the anthropometric data to a metabolic syndrome modeling function derived from a regression analysis model for metabolic syndrome； determining whether or not the metabolic syndrome is present by comparing the calculated current modeling function value with a reference value； calculating a variation value of a representative body date value required for the modeling function value to reach a reference value for the testee who is not corresponding to the metabolic syndrome； and outputting it as health guide data. It is possible to prevent the metabolic syndrome by oneself.체형 정보를 이용한 진단 및 건강 관리 가이드 기술이 개시된다. 개시된 건강 관리 가이드 방법은 피진단자의 체형 정보를 입력 받고, 대사증후군에 대해 회귀분석 모델로 도출된 대사증후군 모델링 함수에 체형 정보를 입력하여 모델링 함수값을 산출한다. 이후에, 산출된 현재 모델링 함수값과 기준값을 비교하여 대사 증후군 여부를 판단하고, 대사 증후군에 해당하지 않는 피진단자에 대해 모델링 함수값이 기준값에 도달하는데 필요한 대표 체형 정보 값의 변화량 값을 산출하여 건강 가이드 정보로 출력한다.
