A therapeutically effective amount of an oligonucleotide is capable of influencing the properties and behaviour of polymorphonuclear cells, e.g. suppressing endothelial adhesion and transmigration of said cells, and through this mechanism reduce the recruitment and/or migration of polymorphonuclear cells to a site of inflammation.La présente invention concerne une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace dun oligonucléotide qui est capable dinfluencer les propriétés et le comportement de cellules polymorphonucléaires, par exemple la suppression de ladhésion endothéliale et la transmigration desdites cellules, et par ce mécanisme réduit le recrutement et/ou la migration de cellules polymorphonucléaires vers un site dinflammation.
