The present invention relates to direct dyes of azomethine type of formula (I) below； and also to the use thereof for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair. The invention also relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, comprising such direct dyes in a suitable dyeing medium. Similarly, a subject of the invention is a process for dyeing keratin fibres using the said dye composition, and also a device comprising the same. Finally, the present invention also relates to precursors of these direct dyes.La présente invention concerne des colorants directs de type azométhine de formule (I) ci-dessous, ainsi que leur utilisation dans la coloration de fibres de kératine, en particulier de fibres de kératine humaines, telles que les cheveux. L'invention porte également sur une composition destinée à colorer des fibres de kératine, comprenant lesdits colorants directs dans un milieu de coloration adapté. De même, l'invention a également trait à un procédé de coloration de fibres de kératine utilisant ladite composition de coloration, ainsi qu'à un dispositif associé. Enfin, la présente invention porte également sur des précurseurs de ces colorants directs.
