PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface sheet for absorbent articles, having good skin touch feeling, where a liquid is difficult to be left on the surface sheet.
SOLUTION: The surface sheet 10 for absorbent articles includes a two-layer structure composed of an upper layer 11 on a surface side applied to a skin directly and a lower layer 12 on a surface side which is not directly applied to the skin, and the upper layer 11 is formed by using of thermally extensible fibers, and has a fiber joint part where intersection points of the thermally extensible fibers are joined, and the lower layer 12 does not include the thermally extensible fiber or includes the thermally extensible fiber in a lower ratio than the upper layer, and the surface side of the upper layer 11 which is directly applied to the skin has a concave and convex shape, and the interface between the upper layer 11 and the lower layer 12 has a fixing part 13 where they are joined to each other and a non-fixing part 18 where the upper layer 11 and the lower layer 12 are laminated peelably, and the distance between the fibers of the upper layer 11 is larger than that of the lower layer 12.
