PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detection device capable of detecting overturning of an object person for detection such as the elderly and announcing the overturning, and having a function of watching the daily life of the object person.SOLUTION: The motion detection device 4 is carried or worn by the object person for detection to be used. The motion detection device 4 includes: a triaxial acceleration sensor 1 for detecting acceleration based on the movement such as walking of the object person for detection a signal processing means 2 for processing sensor signals of the triaxial acceleration sensor 1 and a communication means 3 which can transmit the processed signals obtained by the signal processing means 2 to outside. A microcomputer or microprocessor, etc is used as the signal processing means 2.
