Dental implants generally have a body in which a threaded sector of bone implantation is defined and a smooth head that must be hidden behind the gum and which in turn has an axial hole, blind and threaded, for receiving the dental piece or implant itself in question. The problem is that the constitutive aluminum of the implant, and more specifically the aluminum at the level of the head of the implant, generates a deadly appearance on the gum, that is, an aspect of dead gum, clearly undesirable. The invention consists in providing the head of the implant with an anodizing by means of electrolytic current, for a series of successive periods of the order of ten seconds, with different and progressively increasing tensions, until reaching the head of said metal part a fuchsia color that improves substantially the appearance of the gum. The electrolytic process is complemented by a subsequent tempering phase, increasing the hardness of the implant.Los implantes dentales cuentan generalmente con un cuerpo en el que se define un sector roscado de implantación al hueso y una cabeza lisa que ha de quedar oculta tras la encía y que cuenta a su vez con un orificio axial, ciego y roscado, para recepción de la pieza dental o implante propiamente dicho de que se trate. El problema es que el aluminio constitutivo del implante, y más concretamente el aluminio a nivel de la cabeza del mismo, genera en la encía un aspecto mortecino, es decir un aspecto de encía muerta, claramente indeseable. La invención consiste en dotar a la cabeza del implante de un anodizado mediante corriente electrolítica, durante una serie de periodos sucesivos del orden de diez segundos, con tensiones diferentes y progresivamente crecientes, hasta alcanzar para la cabeza de dicha pieza metálica un color fucsia que mejora sustancialmente el aspecto de la encía. El proceso electrolítico se complementa con una posterior fase de revenido, incrementando la dureza del implante.
