An object is to provide an axle drive type tilling apparatus capable of increasing a tilling efficiency. Of the second-row tilling claws (B1L, B2R), the tilling claw (B1L) is supported on the first support member 21 so as to be oriented toward the inner side, and the tilling claw (B2R) is supported on the second support member 22 so as to be oriented toward the outer side. Of the third-row tilling claws (C1L, C2R), the tilling claw (C1L) is supported on the second support member 22 so as to be oriented toward the inner side, and the tilling claw (C2R) is supported on the third support member 23 so as to be oriented toward the outer side.
