PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument for performing fragmentation and aspiration, which conventionally includes separately an instrument for fragmentation and aspiration, and an instrument for aspirating without fragmenting, configured to be served as both instruments.SOLUTION: When fragmentation processing is performed by ultrasonic vibration, a sleeve 3 and a US (Ultrasonic) tip 4 are attached to a combined handpiece 1 and, in irrigation/aspiration, an attachment member 5 for I/A (Irrigation/Aspiration) is attached to the tip of the US tip 4. Thereby, a single handpiece can be served as the conventional US handpiece and I/A handpiece in the conventional cataract operation.【課題】破砕と吸引とを行う手術用の器具であって、従来、破砕と吸引とを行う器具と破砕せずに吸引する器具とを別個に備える構成としていたものにおいて、両器具を兼用するようにした手術器具を提供する。【解決手段】兼用ハンドピース1に対して、超音波振動による破砕処置時には、スリーブ3とUSチップ4とを取り付け、灌流/吸引時には、USチップ4の先端に、I/A用取付部材5を取り付ける。これにより、従来の白内障手術におけるUSハンドピースとI/Aハンドピースとが1本のハンドピースで兼用できる。【選択図】図1
