PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal trap that can trap an animal continuously.SOLUTION: An animal trap includes: a trap container, on the first floor of which an entrance is formed, and on the second floor of which a communicating opening is formed a swing plate which is supported pivotally inside the trap container for opening/closing the entrance and locking means for locking the swing plate in a state in which the swing plate closes the entrance. The swing plate closes the entrance in the initial state in which the swing plate inclines downward toward the back of the trap container by the self-weight of the swing plate, opens the entrance by swinging upward when an animal enters the trap container from the entrance, and closes the entrance again by the self-weight by returning to the initial state after the animal has entered the trap container. The locking member includes: locking start means for stating the locking state of the swing plate in which the entrance is closed by the weight of the animal which entered the inside of the trap container from the entrance when it got on the swing plate and locking release means for releasing the rocking state when the animal moves on the swing plate toward the communicating opening.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】動物を連続的に捕獲できる動物捕獲器を提供する。【解決手段】1階部分に入口が形成されて2階部分に連通口が形成された捕獲容器と、捕獲容器内に軸支されて入口を開閉するための揺動板と、上記揺動板が入口を閉じた状態で揺動板をロックするロック手段とを備え、上記揺動板は、自重によって奥に向かって下り傾斜になった初期状態において入口を閉じ、動物が入口から侵入するときに上方に揺動することにより入口を開き、動物が捕獲容器内に入ると再び自重によって初期状態に戻って入口を閉じるように構成され、上記ロック手段は、入口から捕獲容器の内部に侵入した動物が揺動板に載った重みによって入口を閉じた揺動板のロック状態を開始するためのロック開始手段と、動物が揺動板の上を通って連通口に向かって移動するときにロック状態を解除するためのロック解除手段とを含んで構成されている。【選択図】図2
