The present invention relates to a marker composition for surgery comprising a composite having pigments for vital staining, radioisotopes or a combination thereof bonded to macroaggregated albumin (MAA). Moreover, the present invention concerns a method for providing information on the location of surgical sites by using the marker composition, a marker for surgery comprising the marker composition for surgery and a composite having pigments for vital staining bonded to MAA contained in the marker composition. The marker composition for surgery according to the present invention allows the in-time detection of the location and size of the surgical site during surgery while binding to the surgical sites, which increases the success rate of surgical operation and prevents the excess loss of normal tissues.
