PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image reading efficiency by practically using an interest value look up table attached to a medical image.SOLUTION: An image display device changing over and displaying a plurality of screens sets display procedure information in which screen setting information including the kind of a medical image, arrangement of the medical images and the kind of an interest value look up table (VOI (Value Of Interest) LUT (Look Up Table)) used for the medical image, and display order are associated, in each of the plurality of screens. In time of image reading, the image display device performs gradation processing to the medical image corresponding to the kind of the medical image included in the screen setting information corresponding to each display order by use of the VOI LUT corresponding to the kind of the VOI LUT included in the screen setting information corresponding to each display order of the plurality of VOI LUTs attached to the medical image, according to the display order of the display procedure information, and displays the medical image after the gradation processing on the basis of the arrangement included in the screen setting information corresponding to each display order.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】医用画像に付帯されている関心値ルックアップテーブルを有効に活用し、読影効率の向上を図る。【解決手段】複数の画面を切り替えて表示する画像表示装置において、複数の画面毎に、画面内に表示される医用画像の種類、医用画像の配置、及び、医用画像に用いる関心値ルックアップテーブル(VOI LUT)の種類を含む画面設定情報と、表示順序と、が対応付けられた表示手順情報を設定しておく。読影時に、表示手順情報の表示順序に従って、各表示順序に対応する画面設定情報に含まれる医用画像の種類に対応する医用画像に対して、当該医用画像に付帯されている複数のVOI LUTのうち、各表示順序に対応する画面設定情報に含まれるVOI LUTの種類に対応するVOI LUTを用いて階調処理を行い、階調処理後の医用画像を、各表示順序に対応する画面設定情報に含まれる配置に基づいて表示させる。【選択図】図15
