PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool facilitating an attaching/detaching work of a blade body unit to/from a body section.SOLUTION: A power tool 10 includes: a body section 11 for storing a motor 12 and a blade body unit 21 which has a blade body tool 22 which is operated by receiving driving force from the motor 12. The body section 11 has a drive gear 14a formed at a shaft tip of a motor shaft 14 provided in the motor 12. The blade body unit 21 has a driven gear 24a engaged with the drive gear 14a and a blade body tool 22 which is operated according to a rotary motion of the driven shaft 24 on which the driven gear 24a is mounted. The blade body unit 21 is attached/detached to/from the body section 11 in an engaging section of the drive gear 14a disposed in the body section 11 and the driven gear 24a disposed in the blade body unit 21.
